We will have been the dedicated catering partner year-round at Landing Forty Two for 6 years in February 2023. This December has been one of the best festive seasons with 10 events ranging from standing receptions for up to 300 guests to beautiful, seated dinners for 220 guests. As the highest dedicated event space in the UK, Landing Forty Two is a blank canvas venue with stunning views of London acting as the backdrop to every event.

Freemason’s Hall is absolutely guaranteed to impress guests with the sheer scale and grandeur of its beautiful setting right in the middle of the west end. Moving Venue’s parent company, Smart Group, work with the venue to create two distinct event spaces in the Grade-II listed majestic space. The first space, downstairs in the Gallery, offers seated dinners for up to 220 guests whilst upstairs, in the Temple, 1,300 guests can enjoy a standing reception. Each space has its own entrance and operates independently. This year, both spaces were  transformed with a sensational Masquerade theme; a stunning recreation of a Venetian carnival. Smart Group have collaborated with Freemason’s Hall since 2017 to deliver Christmas Parties with Moving Venue as the dedicated catering partner. We were extremely excited to cater 19 events over the festive season at the venue this year.

Smart Group also work with Magazine London to deliver events during the festive period. Magazine London, situated in North Greenwich on the bank of the River Thames, is a standing capacity venue for 3,000 guests and Moving Venue are the exclusive catering partner year-round. Magazine London is the perfect blank canvas space and hosts a variety of brand events throughout the year. Indeed, this December, the venue welcomed several global brands, many within the motorsports industry. No two events at Magazine London are the same and this December Moving Venue catered intimate high profile seated dinners for 24 guests to large scale standing receptions for the full 3,000 guests.

Moving Venue are also the catering partner at Illuminate year-round. This is the only dedicated event space in the Science Museum and boasts two floors allowing up to 450 guests to enjoy both beautiful standing receptions and dinners. The showpiece of Illuminate is undoubtedly the panoramic window looking out over the glistening Christmas lights of Harrods and the city beyond. The venue hosted a variety of events this December ranging from festive lunches and drinks receptions, to conferences! This showcases the diverse nature of events the venue can facilitate.

LSO St Luke’s stunning Grade-I listed 18^th-century church has been transformed into the ultimate Christmas event space, conveniently located on the edge of the City in Shoreditch. With beautifully illuminated spires, towering ceilings and a juxtaposing mix of modern and new architecture and set design inside, it truly makes for a wonderful Christmas party venue. Moving Venue have been delivering exclusive parties at the venue for over 8 years. This year, we had 7 events over the season with some clients that have returned to the venue year on year, a true testament to the brilliant partnership we have with the LSO and their home.

Another fantastic venue located in the heart of the city is the Museum of London, London Wall. Guests explore London’s history as they make their way through the museum galleries from Roman settlements to the historic 2012 London Olympics. On entering the Ellipse Hall, guests are wowed by the 360-degree digital ellipse which displays twinkling night lights and swaying chandelier, giving a modern twist for a venue within the Unique Venue of London portfolio. Moving Venue catered 6 events at the venue this year ranging from large-scale standing receptions for 900 guests to seated dinners for 350 guests. Having been the dedicated catering partner for Museum of London during the festive period since 2017, this year is extra special as the last in the current space as the museum is soon due to move location to its new home in Smithfield’s Market.
