This is an exciting role at Moving Venue, the Event Sales Executive is to support the Sales Team to ensure that sales targets are achieved and that events are produced effectively and in line with clients’ expectation.

This is an incredibly exciting time for Moving Venue as having been twice awarded Event Caterer of the Year, we have solidified our position as one of the leading event caterers in the capital operating events across some of the most Unique Venues of London ranging from Museums, Palaces and Galleries to blank canvases and warehouse spaces.
ABOUT MOVING VENUE
Moving Venue is one of the original event caterers in London. We have been impressing clients with outstanding events since 1984. Our reputation for delicious food and outstanding excellence has secured us a place on the accredited supplier list of over 30 venues, in and around London.
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
The Event Sales Executive holds the responsibility of managing essential relationships with the Events Teams at these venues. It is imperative that we uphold our profile and preferred caterer status, facilitating the opportunity to present proposals for event enquiries received at these venues. These enquiries must be managed with skill and an ability to stand out in a competitive market in collaboration with the Sales Director and wider team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage incoming event enquiries promptly, professionally, and with attention to detail

Convert enquiries into confirmed business through strong proposals and client engagement

Build and maintain relationships with key London venues and their events teams

Manage and grow revenue across your assigned venue portfolio

Identify opportunities to increase sales within existing venues and develop new ones

Understand client needs and create tailored, stand-out event solutions

Support site visits, tastings, and client meetings to help secure business

Collaborate with the Sales Director and wider team to maximise opportunities

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of venues, clients, and market trends

Attend events within your venue portfolio in an account management capacity

- Able to commit to a flexible work pattern occasionally undertaking weekend work.
Experience in events, hospitality, or sales is highly desirable but attitude and ambition are just as important.
