Smart Summer Party
July was a month of sizzling summer days and we were thrilled to kick it off with our Smart Summer Party at the beautiful Inner Temple Gardens.

Ideally situated overlooking the River Thames and set amongst award winning gardens.
Guests were treated to a variety of delicious drinks on their sunshine arrival, including the Pineapple Salsa cocktail, bursting with flavours of pineapple, lime and coriander before enjoying the delightful sounds of Acostik; a stunning four piece set up from Euphonica who instantly got them up on their feet.
The party also gave Moving Venue the opportunity to showcase brand-new canapé and bowl food menus designed by our Executive Head Chef, David Ridgway. The menu included some incredible summer dishes such as the crispy lamb hash, BBQ turnip purée and shaved asparagus, miso dressing, puffed wild rice, pickled shallots.
It wouldn’t be a true summer party without a BBQ but this was no ordinary BBQ, guests were able to choose their dish from a live cooking station as our chefs created their choice in front of them. Options included charred beef, cured yolk, crispy potato and black garlic aioli as well as grilled sea bass, zoug, buttermilk, dill and cucumber.
Despite being in the midst of summer season, we did not forget that Christmas was fast approaching and to conclude the evening, guests were invited to sample our Christmas dessert station showcasing some of the treats on offer for winter 2019. The station was filled with a selection of Christmas themed desserts designed by our Head Pastry Chef Sophie Beckett and we have no doubt this station will be a big hit across all our Christmas sites this year.
