A Party to Remember!

In April, Magazine London played host to a very special event which saw the client bring together their top employees from 15 different countries. We were tasked with creating a high-end bespoke catering offering, ensuring all 1,100 guests were well fed and watered!

A party to remember

On Saturday 2nd April, 1,100 guests arrived in London from across the globe, ranging from Mexico, USA and Europe. In celebration of their top employees, it was a lively party from the very start as they arrived to Magazine London dressed in black and gold for a canapé and drinks reception. During the reception we served our guests a delicious array of canapés including:

 Smoked fillet of beef, potato, truffle cream

Parmesan gnocchi, roasted pumpkin purée , crushed pine nuts and crispy sage

Truffle potato crisps, cashew cheese mousse, chilli quince jam

Following the reception guests were welcomed into the main events space. In an Olympic style ceremony, guests were called into the awards space country by country, where flags waving and music blaring. In what was an incredible production and show, run by Vibration Production and Design, no less than 120 awards were handed out to the excited winners.

After the awards show, it was time for dinner and our time to shine! Feeding over 1,100 hungry guests from 15 different nationalities is no easy task. Briefed to include food from around the world, served quickly and still remaining a high-end product, we had to come up with a variety of delicious food stalls, combined with circulated food and table platters – food in every corner of the room.

Making use of The Showground – a great outdoor area of the venue, a bespoke marquee was built for the dinner to take place. On bespoke built food stalls, we served Bao buns, a Mezze Bar, Raw Bar and Curry Station, to name but a few.

Circulating on trays were:

Sticky sesame pork ribs with honey, soy ginger

Halloumi and red pepper houmous slider

Ginger and garlic teriyaki roast salmon and jasmine rice

Finished off with delicious dessert canapés, guests were well and truly fed ahead of a night to party in style.

After dinner, guests were treated to a very special performance from THE one and only Robbie Williams! Singing his top hits, it was a great way to kickstart the after dinner celebrations, and guests danced on into the night, with the help of some late night snacks to keep them going.

This truly was an event to remember!
