This year's highly-anticipated annual social event, Hospitality Rocks, was held on Friday 10th January at Smart Group’s flagship venue, Evolution London.
OH WHAT A NIGHT!
Hospitality Rocks is designed to allow the professionals of the hospitality, events and catering industry to let their hair down for a night, after working incredibly hard throughout November and December to satisfy the British public’s inexhaustible desire for a Christmas shindig!
This year over 1,300 hospitality professionals attended, including over 30 of Moving Venue’s accredited venue teams.
No expense was spared for this fantastic event and guests were treated to an exclusive VIP experience which encompassed the true spirit of Christmas in New York; complete with Katz diner, an authentic Irish bar and everything that’s great about the Big Apple! This incredible event brought together an eclectic mix of the best food, drink and entertainment the world has to offer, as well as adrenaline-pumping dodgems, a vodka luge, karaoke phenomenon Rockaoke and more.
As in previous years we were raising money during the night for our two incredible chosen charities: Hospitality Action, who offer advice, help and support to all those who work or have worked in the hospitality industry by helping them getting back on their feet; and Springboard, who help alleviate poverty by supporting disadvantaged and underprivileged people into sustainable employment within hospitality, leisure and tourism. This year we managed to raise an incredible £11,000 for these worthwhile charities and that is all thanks to our fabulous attendees.
We without doubt enjoyed every minute of the night spent partying with amazing company and look forward to a phenomenal year ahead working with all of our lovely venue teams, before doing it all over again next year.
