10 Years at the Top: Celebrating a Decade with Landing Forty Two

This year marked an exciting milestone in London’s events scene – our friends at Landing Forty Two celebrated their 10th birthday!

Since 2016

Over the years, we’ve collaborated on hundreds of events, working hand-in-hand with exceptional teams to deliver flawless service and elevated experiences. Whether it’s a gala dinner or a morning breakfast briefing, we’ve brought world-class catering and hospitality to match this extraordinary setting.

An Elevated Celebration

Hosted high above the city on the 42nd floor of the iconic Leadenhall Building — known affectionately as The Cheesegrater — the event brought together clients, partners, and industry friends to mark a decade of sky-high innovation, unforgettable moments, and iconic events. Since opening in 2015, this extraordinary venue has welcomed over 250,000 guests, redefining what it means to host premium experiences in London.

To mark the occasion, Landing Forty Two pulled out all the stops – and so did we. From the panoramic views, the vibrant crowd and dazzling entertainment, our playful and premium menu reflected the energy, elegance, and elevated spirit Landing Forty Two represents. It was a tribute to ten years of boundary-pushing events, creative partnerships, and sky-high success.

As proud catering partners since 2016, we were thrilled to help bring this milestone moment to life.

Premium Yet Playful

Designing a menu that didn’t just match the view but rose to meet it, the event’s theme, “10 Years Elevated”, guided our culinary approach: blending standing-tall sophistication with playful creativity, premium ingredients, and a sense of celebration.

Some highlights from the evening included a Black Olive and Goats Cheese “Oreo” – a playful, savoury twist on a childhood favourite, designed to surprise and delight, truffle beef burger with ‘L42 / 10’ stamp and a nostalgia blini bar & champagne station – complete with favourites like fish & chips, PB&J and popcorn chicken.

Towering Treats

Saving the best until last, a live tiramisu trolley was rolled out delivering portions with a cocoa-dusted “L42” served personally to guests by our Executive Pastry Chef, Sarah Hartnett, to complement the theatrics of the night and close the night on a high (and sweet) note.

As we looked back on ten remarkable years of Landing Forty Two, we feel immense pride in the partnership we’ve built and the moments we’ve helped bring to life. It’s been a privilege to be part of such a significant celebration – one that has honoured the past, captured the spirit of the present, and hinted at a bold, bright future.
