The Presence Chamber was the official throne room of the Palace. Here the King would sit on the throne under a grand canopy. Interestingly, even when the King was not occupying the room, courtiers would still have to bow to the throne as they passed through to the other State Apartments. This room retains a regal splendour and will make an impressive location for hosting exclusive dinners and receptions.
